Transhumanism is a materialist religion that seeks to find transcendence and immortality through technology and the fashioning of a “post-human species.”
If transhumanists have a leader, Oxford professor Nick Bostrom is the guy.
This is not so far-fetched as you may imagine. Although there is no ‘intelligent’ design to evolution, just random mutations that work or don’t work, his reference is to humans who use technology intelligently to extend bionic life.
So let’s follow this guy and see where he leads us, but keep an open mind on the way.

This workshop addresses issues a person with cancer may have to deal with from the time of diagnosis, through treatment and recovery. The psychological and sociological adjustments that face victims of cancer, are examined. These include anxiety management, sexuality, self-concept, activities of daily living, relating to medical and caregiver personnel, family and friends` relationships, community, and work.
Also addressed are the physical and nutritional aspects during treatment and recovery that impinge on one`s lifestyle and in the re-building of one’s life.

Dr. Hill is a seasoned post-secondary educator, anxiety and grief consultant, and former senior manager of many health-based organizations. He had lived and worked in Northwestern Ontario for 35 years. He is a member of the Association of Applied and Clinical Sociology and the Canadian Association of Psychosocial Oncologists. His book Prostate Cancer and Beyond will be available for purchase at a discount. He is a cancer survivor and lives in Marks Township with his wife Jane MacBride-Hill.
Jeff Garofalo, BA , CPT, LFC is a former Certified Professional Trainer, who has helped clients achieve their physical and mental goals in health and wellness. Jeff focuses on lifestyle coaching, and has instructed corporate executives as far away as South Korea. He trains in the martial arts, and is a wellness motivational speaker. His academic minor is in gerontology. He is pursuing the Elite Trainers’ Program through the International Sports Sciences Association. Jeff lives in Thunder Bay, and has had his share of personal trauma.
